* Earth is a Plate

Business trip to the US - I'm quite surprised that there are no more airborn pictures here already :-) ...the unsufficient quality of shots with this cam (it's one of the better shots) made me going for a SLR, since in so many cases I was not able to frame what I saw...

excellent job of post processing I couldn't tell.

Thanks! It took quite some heavy post sharpening and noise removal to let it look like this. ~ Armin

This shot looks terrific with the smooth snow at the bottom. Nice one mate:-)

Thank you both for your nice comments! Mary Ann, yes, it is a digital from a former Eastern Germany glass manufacturer. They had to go for a new business model when Germany was re-united. But this bl**** thing su*** - it takes an hour to start, and it's nearly impossible to catch a fast moving object - e.g. a running slug. I would say, 1 of 10-20 was a keeper. Lost nearly all beautiful moments early this year in Spain, and finally decided to go for a Canon SLR - the difference was/is unbelievable, but the "photographer" behind it is still as bad as before :-))
With the new Canon I really started to take photos - and was immediately fascinated by photography. ~ Armin

It's a great shot, Armin...and they must have recently cleaned the windows. BTW I'm curious about your camera. I've never heard of it in the US. Is it digital?
