Thanks Cat, I think it's just because of the way the light is hitting it from behind. The glass is definitely all one color. Well at least it WAS. :::sigh::: Thanks for the compliment. It was hard to hold the glass and shoot this with my left hand at the same time. I was holding the diffusion disk with my toes. My husband walked by me and just rolled his eyes....

Britt, Very nicely done. Great use of light and placements of the fingers. The graduation of the color in the galss helps. -Cat

I'd love to know the story behind this one. The color really makes this one pop. Excellent composition. Ann C

Oh, also, I love the colors and lighting, great job. The fingernails are perfect.

I like this title much better than the previous one. The last one just put me mentally in the wrong place for viewing the entry.

Great silouettes here. I like the light too

Well done Paul I was sure you were going to comment on the pull me finger routine:-)

When I first looked at it I immediately thought: uhhh, that hurts :-) great compo and lit! ~ Armin

PS: Britt, could you please downsize, I think you entry is larger than 150k.

There's an odd and quite striking effect on my monitor where it appears as if the edge of the glass is running through your middle finger. It confuses the eye. Good colours and composition.

Something good out of something bad.....aah life. Yvonne

I like! Definite softness of colors here and can I say (silhouette hehe) of the fingers. Glad you pulled something very nice out of a bad (broken glass) situation nonetheless. Good job! jano

Yes, my fingers are behind the glass. I was picking up pieces of my broken coffee table. My (on-her-7th-life) cat was running through the living room and blasted through my backdrop, knocked it over and it crashed right through the coffee table. So good timing for this challenge! And Rod, there you go, darlin. Silliness all gone. :)~ ~Britt

Good girl:-)

This works really well Britt, with good lighting & composition. If it wasn't for the silly sig you put on it would look quite artistiiiiistic.

Hmmm, not so sure, if Britt has not done some of this already. Look at the lit spot of the middle finger. It seems, as if she was holding a piece of glass and 3 fingers were behind it... Nice picture, anyhow. ~ Armin

That's something different.... I like the color of the colored glass. I was thinking as I was looking at this, how cool it would also be to photograph your hand THROUGH the glass with the glass filling the entire image frame :-) Markjay
