Thank you for the kind word. Yes it is a grasshopper and it was a good object of photography: it knew how to pose! (was it well trained??)

This is such an awesome image I'm dumbstruck! The color and slight detail to the finger and grasshopper(?) is really amazing here. I like the way I can see the grooves on the finger and the detail of the wings. Truly amazing. DOF is great IMO. jano
