Having not seen Jano on the previous pictures, I'd say this is a very interesting one. A marriage proposal or a date...are we talking about a human being here?
Actually, I like the photo quite a lot.

Thanks for all the "kind" comments! Just woke up one morning and saw my reflection and thought it worthy of this challenge. I need to buy a hairbrush one of these days! jano

LOL. Jano, you really have a great sense of humor. One of the funniest photos in this challenge :)

Init funny I'm starting to really like this shot. I don't think it will get you any marrage proposals, but it sure will get you plenty of dates. .............................I think

Thanks Jano, It was only a tadsome confusing, but I think I have it down now. Hopefully my next ones will look bleeding awesome when I shrink them down, too!
It sure would be nice if we could just plug in the good ones and save us all some time.. Sigh:::: (Sorry, it's been a long night, photographing my daughter's marching band competition all night.....arg.) ~ Britt

Hi Britt - here is a handy tutorial that I found quite helpful in overall image quality when preparing for web view. http://www.dpchallenge.com/tutorial.php?TUTORIAL_ID=26

Also check out this tutorials http://www.pbase.com/ctfchallenge/z_file_size

hope this helps! jano

Okay, I thought maybe I would ask this question here to try to get some feedback since you all are so great about giving advice....
It seems that the pictures I save for the web (which have to be small in size) are nowhere near the quality that my originals are (duh.) But when I look at what other people have posted, theirs look really good compared to my quality. Is there a trick to saving for web that will help in image quality?

Thanks again, Britt

I agree with with Britt, & it looks sort of crazy. It's funny how a shot like this can grow on you.

I like it - it almost seems a bit cartoon-like :)

I see, Rod, that you are a surface only guy..... :) jano

Oh my gawd can I retract me marrage proposal:-)

I'm sure you look much better than this ! Your other shot tells me that.
But actually, I like the fun shot - fairly crisp shadows.

I just want to clarify that this is just a crazy shot and don't expect any great critiques :) Hopefully the sun will shine this w/e and I'll get some inspiration for something worthy of this challenge. In other words, just for a laugh to break up the monotony of the beautiful photos that have been entered in both eligible and exhibition so far. :) jano
