Wow, I like these comments about the feet. Thanks for your input! ~ Britt

Nice shot. The cut off feet do bother me b/c it makes it look like this waterscape image was being projected onto a movie screen and then the boy walked by right in front of it. So I'm sensing that he is not part of the scene, but instead an intruder in the room where the image is being viewed. As for him needing room to walk into the scene, with this body language and title, I agree with his placement. He's got nowhere to go in the image b/c perhaps he's got nowhere to go in real life. Rules need to be broken sometimes, and the placement rule on this one needs to be broken to support the story. On the other hand, the don't-cut-off-the-feet rule is essential to follow here b/c it makes it feel like he was not part of the original scene, making the story completely different. ~ Lonnit

Il ike this. shot. Normally I do not like shots where the feet are cutoff but this seems to work as it is. Would prefer subject in left side composition, giving feeling of walking into the "space". Markjay

Very nice shot Britt, The colours look unusual to me but work really well, I also like the bowed head. Normally in this type of shot its good to see the feet but this seems to work just fine. Well done.

jstrong - thanks for the feedback....I am much happier with my cropping. I didn't like the bland "landscape" in the background anyway. This was shot at about 4 in the afternoon and the title was a bit misleading, so I changed the title so as not to mislead on time of day. I really appreciate your comments.

I must say I like this much better!!!! ...and the comp now relates nicely to the title. Nicely done. I am going to go ahead and move the other duplicate shot to pending as you have have uploaded it twice? jano
