Love the fine detail in the fur. Gives the silhouette a real sense of a 3 dimensional creature. Works very well against the blinds. -- Bruce

Love this one. The lines really make it stand out. Also like the sunlit edges of her fur. Ann C

Nice silouette enhanced by lines

Very good. The dirt on the window could easily pass for a light frosting if it was a touch later in the year. From the thumbnail i thought this was one of those 1930s Art Deco sculptures so it was a surprise to see a real cat with hairs.

Thanks for the comments. As much as I'd like to take credit for this, it was mostly luck. I just updated the photo to fix some issues I feel it had. Hopefully none of you noticed them :). I have a love/hate relationship with the dirty window, it's something I could take care of in photoshop, but I decided that I'd rather keep it as I like the color and texture it provides.

Very nice...the kind of shot I've been trying to get with my cats. The lines here are excellent, and the position of the cat makes him/her look absolutely regal.

Very strong and sharp silhouette. I like the way you can see the hairs of the cat. *I might have done slight clone work on this, but it is really outstanding. jano

I'm not a cat fan - but this is outstanding. The angle of the blinds with the head are perfect. It must have taken a lot of shots to produce this fine alignment.

This is great!! wow. Great job.The silhouette of the cat with the backlit fur looks great. Those horizontal blinds really make this stand out even more.
