I like your version more than the picture you refer to :-))

Hello again :)

Well Grant's shot did also have a vertical color graduation that made more use of the empty space. So I wouldn't just clone out the wires in this one but crop a bit off the top.

I think Grant Hamilton did the original of this, & if my memory serves me correct minus the top two wires. Grants shot really worked, to make this work with the top wires the bird would have to go.

I agree with Jano. Well I'm just thinking aloud... ;) The title is "wired", so having those two at the top befits this photo and I imagine their would be too much negative space without them? but then a bit of a tigher crop would be needed.
All in all I like this shot both ways.

the whole frame is filled, yet the image is neat and clean. straight lines with birdy-curves. cool. i like this very much. -Abstract

I disagree with Paul and Rod - the top two lines, imo, give it more interest. The top two lines say to me...."I'm the only one here". jano

Very good. I agree with Rod regarding losing the top 2 lines.

This would work a lot better without the two top wires.................I think

Nicely done Andy. The background color is very appealing here. jano
