Thanks for the comments. This was an interesting image to shoot. I had an idea in my head and once i stopped some lens flare it came out how i'd hoped but when i resized the images ready for choosing one i felt as if i was looking at a Hallmark greetings card with some dreadful cliched image so i deleted the lot. the next day i went out and hung around for a few hours in the old paddocks and wasteland out the back where i take the mutt for a walk taking shots in all different lights and angles and loved the feel of this one the moment i opened it. I thought about the glare being too bright but it's funny that Rod being such a boofhead actually got into my train of thought a bit with his comment about heading into the light. i felt on first viewing the photo that it was both a going home as in going home to tea and bed and also going home into whatever home is that lies beyond the end...so to speak..probably and most likely bugger all but the romantic and poetic side of me came out as it oftten does when i'm on the piss:>

Nice composition, and I especially like the way the light outlines the two figures. However, I'm bothered by the glare from the sun, which has "grayed out" some of the dark tones.

Paul - I think this would be a stronger image without the trees in the background to show silhouettes of you and the dog. However, I am seeing the silhouettes of the landscape against the sky. When looking at it this way, and with the bright light in the background, I can really appreciate this photo. It just took me some time to grasp the image. Good job. jano

This is very erotic Paul, with the backlighting obscuring the two bums animal & vegetable, leaving everything to our imaginations. This is wot people see when they die, a big white light that they follow before they're sent back.
This is a very good shot that shows that you aint arf getting good at taking picys mate. Well done.
