RK, I hope you made the change only because you like this version better and not because I said that I had doubts about the earlier posting. While we can learn from each other, I think we should also be gaining confidence in our own work as we are developing an eye for what makes a good photo.

Thanks Mary Anne and Yvonne. Mary Anne, you're right about the illustration effect. I was playing with various filter effects is PS. I have re-posted without these effects.
Yvonne, in terms of hot cookies, I made sure the stove was off.

Good color and composition, but I'm not so sure about the effects you added...makes it look more like a painted illustration rather than a photograph. I love playing around with various filters in PSE, but I generally don't use them in these challenges. That's not to say you should do anything...just let the voters decide.

Going to have some hot cookies if you don't get those off the stove! Which is my suggestion, they don't seem to belong there and the stove really is a distraction. I lov ethe colors of the jars and countertop may work better. We know they are in a kitchen, so I would worry more about capturing attention on the jars. Yvonne

Thanks ISO. Included the stove to give the picture a kitchen feel. Have cloned out the knob.

Not sure about this one.....Good angle and perspective.... Two nicely coloured interesting objects and yet I'm drawn to the knob in the middle!
