Very nice Sharon with the pp. I liked it prior as well. Great photo. jano

Good job with this, it would be really fun if the bible was old and ragged. Picky old photographers! Yvonne

Yes, this version has much more impact than the original. Good capture, Sharon.

Thanks for your comments, everyone! I don't know why I can't see these things when I first process the image. Anyway, here is the new version. I will be able to be back commenting again soon. Thanks for your help! ~Sharon

Agree with both RK and Abstract's comments. I may have even darkened this slightly or some adjustment to "pop" this out. But for being an unstaged photo, this is excellent and I bow to your being able to capture this image. jano

very nice portrait, Sharon. imho there is too much space on the top and left side of the frame. i personally would crop the image from top and left side of the frame, exactly where the vertical (brown) bar (right face) and the sign (bottom face) meet. that way the subject will fill the complete frame and the intensity will increase. of course, just my two cents. nice entry btw. -Abstract

Excellent portrait. Subjects intensity comes thru well. The top left lettering is a little distracting.
