I really like the feel of this shot! Bravo! Yvonne

What were you doing at church Rod? Pumping up the organ on a sunday morning?

The grain & shadow work a treat for this shot Jano. Take no notice of the heathen Paul, the boofhead only worships the pubs. This was the first shot I opened when I got home from church so it had a real impact on me...................................It did.

I know where you're coming from Paul. With the the "Christian leader" Pat Robertson's comments regarding wanting a certain person assassinated here recently, I have those struggles. My motto is... If they say they are Christian and won't shut up about it...make the sign of the cross and run, run, run. jano

No worries Jano. I really like the shot but can rarely resist a touch of beligerence where religion is concerned. I was thinking of going to St Marys Cathedral here in Sydney and taking some shots to fit in with something sinful like hypocrisy and intollerance but as i was getting on the bus i was struck by a thunderbolt out of the blue. Hmm....

When i first opened this i was reminded of Oliver asking for more gruel. It's that pleading expression.

Hey Paul! The topic is Seven Deadly Sins and Seven Virtues so IMO they would make no sense at all w/o some type of religion or belief as a back up. Now, I didn't intend this photo to be relevant to any one religion, i.e., Catholic, Lutheran, Protestant, Moslem, etc., but just mention "God" as universal. Thanks for commenting. Jano

I like the photograph despite feeling uncomfortable with religion of any kind.
