When i opened this i laughed. I really like the photo especially as the hen has such a brooding expression. Colours work well too with the blue towel.

I remember Bread. I thought it was crap and could never understand its popularity, a housefull of whinging scouse gits. A metaphor for Maggies bloody England perhaps?

When I first saw this photo, "greed" came to my mind immediately. Another term could be "hoarding" which I think fits better. In any case. good creative idea. jano

Well greed was my aim, I thought it was obvious - obviously not. I had also forgotten that the majority on this challenge were from the other side of the pond so wouldn't remember the popular UK 70's sitcom called "Bread" where the familiy's entire earnings were kept in a chicken ornament like this. I guess I should just resort to a cute portrait or nice landscape and call it calm, rather than think about this challenge. - Steve.

I think It’s a proverb Aaaammm, I think Steve would say its greed. I suppose you can get greedy chicken ornaments. You might have to go back to the drawing board Steve if you want to impress me & Ammmm:-)
