Thanks, pfehlauer, for taking the time to comment! You do not see the dust because I «rubber-stamped» it out; and, yes, I checked: it was definitely not sensor-dust, but specks on the filter. — db.

Excellent, very nice. I don't see sensor dust..though, maybe testing it would be a good thing to do.

I agree wth you, Jano: If one saw a shoreline in the background, the picture would lose its «Island Feeling», IMHO. Thanks for commenting! — db.

I like this photo with no other shoreline visible. If this is an island, which I assume it is, it is very inviting! Beautiful color. jano

I hope not, Nugar, with all the hassle involved with cleaning the sensor: I think it is just specks on the lens-protecting filter (after taking pictures of a waterfall). Anyway: thanks, Mary Anne, for pointing this out to me; I hadn’t noticed. I'm going to upload a «clean» version of this picture. — db.

That seems to be sensor dust, Mary Anne...

Beautiful tone to the water. I think, however, that I would like to see some shoreline or something in the background. BTW my monitor shows two small circular spots to the right at the level of the topmost trees. Did you clone something out?
