I'm with Lew re: background. Without the B/G the picture of the main subject would lose context I think.

Mary Anne, now you've got me wondering. Guess I was too caught up in the moment to really know whether those are cupped hands or a landscape-grasp. Maybe I will just crop her out after all.

Well, it shows where my mind is. I thought the woman in the background had a camera to her eye. LOL.

Thanks, Mary Anne. I did try the closer crop but decided that the figure in the background, who is also hooting at the object of derision, supported the main subject's emotion. The black object (someone's backpack) on the right is unfortunate. I do like the close crop I tried, though--though its color version seems to work better....Lew

You know, I think I'd crop the top off. The OOF car and woman with a camera are a distraction.
