LOL Thanks for the responses. I agree, I hate flash as well most of the time even bounced off my bean. smile. However, it is the only shot in my albums that seemed appropriate for the challenge. Also, it is one from my A-70 days. The shot will just have to fly with the "love". smile. And yes, the new camera (sleeping right now) will have a bounce-able flash as well as more capability of not needing one. Oh boy.
By the way off to the Grand Canyon today to "test it out". (S1 in back pocket as well) Yvonne

I think Yvonne will buy a proper flash for her new XT & then she can start bouncing the flash off the ceiling, walls or even her forehead for a softer look:-)
This is such an endearing shot, Yvonne, but whenever I see a picture like this I always think of how much nicer it would have been without the flash. I know that sometimes the flash is the only way you'll get the picture...I just don't like the look it gives, especially in photos of children, which should be softer and warmer. (Can you tell that I hate flash?)

Normally the flash shots don't work too well, as you get that rotten shadow which hasn't happened here. I know, I know it's the girls sensitive touch at work again:-)
