Thanks for the comments. Ihave tried with a slower shutter speed, but the reeds are moving too much in the flow and blur too badly. Would have been a nice effect if they kept still! - steve.

Nice! It's like some abstact drawing... If slower shutter speed would not have a smear effect also on the reflections, I'd follow Rod's suggestion. \Oved

I'm not a big fan of overly blurred water shots but I think a slower shutter speed on this shot to soften the water would have help create a really nice mood for this shot. Well seen Red.
