Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I tried to compose the shot with the hill, fence, tree all pulling out to the right hand side of the frame.-alexoki

... which causes tension which is excellent b/c the tree seems to be struggling! :) ~ Lonnit

Critical it may be but it forces you to try & look at two things at once, so I'm still not sure about it.

The fence is a critical element; the tree, the horizon line, and the fence all merge off to the same vanishing point. Very nice shot. ~ Lonnit
I really like this dramatic shot! My two cents would be to do a VERY slight increase of hightlights on the fence, expecially on the top of the posts in the foreground.......????? shu
I love it, and the fence is what makes it work so well. It's the only thing separating me from that "other" world. Ever seen the movie "Spritited Away"? I'll keep on this side, thank you very much. Great shot! /airwhale
Geez, I can't make up my mind about the entire shot. It's a dramatic composition, and in some ways I really like it, but there's something unreal-looking about it. Maybe it's that fence.

I like this shot Alex well done. I can't make up my mind about the fence though.
