It's almost there... what I'd have liked is for that left arm to have left a small gap between itself and the body, letting that brilliant sun shine through. Right now the body is really too blocky on that side. The figure is perfectly position in relation to the sun though. I just find myself wishing for that dazzle of sun to squeeze between left arm and body, and then you'd have yourself an award-winning image! If this is a self portrait it would be incredibly difficult to get it precise - you'd really have to be looking thru the lens for that kind of precision. You did a very fine job here! ~ Lonnit

Thank you again for the comments and the great welcomes to the group and contest. I really like how this photo came out. I shot it with a good amount of light and darkened it in post... thus avoiding any heavy artifacts. I also have found the 20D at ISO400 is pretty good... I've only had the camera a month or so and haven't had a chance to do a lot testing with it.

How did you get that smoothness at Iso 400, did you do it in post processing? It's a great looking shot. I would print this one as well...........& frame it:-)
Welcome aboard the challenges Andy. This is real nice. Great smooth tones, great light, an air of mystery as we can't really see you(?) Would make a great print indeed for framing.
