Nice to meet you Elaine:-)

LOL! :) I never thought it might be seen as anything BUT baby feet...but that's because I was there, of course! Might have to be a pretty good contortionist to get myself into that position for a self portrait! :) I am most certainly a Sheila, and calling me Dawn is just fine. My nick-name actually stands for Elaine Dawn.

Of course baby feet. I thought they looked a bit short & tubby but didn't comment thinking the were your feet:-) This makes the shot even more meaningful especially for the Mum. Great work Dawn. I've been calling you Dawn from your nick name so are you a bloke or a Sheila?:-)

Thanks, Rod! It IS a unique perspective, I think, so I'm glad it works for ya! Technically it isn't a self-portrait (taken of a friend with 3-week old baby), and I didn't set out to get the face in the shot. But I saw her in the LCD and thought, "Now that's interesting...."

That's a great sort of self portrait which works really well for me. Nice work Dawn. Getting the face in the shot sets it up nicely.
