Thanks for the comments. The wood is gone - and I like it better also. I kept the original perspective, as I like the way the feet folow "the rule of 1/3 rds".

I just love the look of the crossed legs. I found the wood at the top of the shot a bit of a distraction & it spoilt the mood a little. I cropped it out on my monitor & I liked the shot with just the legs & shadow. If the tummy is important then maybe just clone the wood out. Really good catch.
