He caught it. You can see a little white at the very top of his glove. The runner tagged the bag before the second baseman could tag him.

Sorry that was newb question. I don't know much about Baseball. Looks like he did catch the ball? So the guy sliding is safe, that means if he did catch it, it was too late anyway.
