Mary Anne, This shot is really full of feeling and nicely done! I am just starting to experiement with indoor lighting and such, I did point the camera at my head yesterday and snapped a photo; I don't know p.s. well enough to even consider using it LOL......Good for you. Your work is really inspiring. Yvonne
So, you noticed my "cheating." I darkened the image, added a reddish tone to make it warmer, and then applied some blur. Didn't use any special "artitistic" effects in PSE. Believe me, the image has benefitted from these changes.

Looking at this again I think I can see some effect has been used in post processing, was this necessary on such a strong shot Mary Anne?
Wow Mary Anne wot an awesome shot, your face & arm in soft focus & shadow offset with the highlights of the blinds make this an outstanding shot. It really has feel. The only improvement I can think of is if you extended the crop down & then have your hand over one of those woman’s bulgy things:-)
You girls have really excelled yourselves in this challenge posting top notch picys. Take a bow Mary Anne this to me is your finest work to date. Congratulations.
