Hi Yvonne :)

I don't think Photoshop 7 has the Shadows/Highlights image adjustment dialog. It was 1st introduced in Photoshop CS and Photoshop Elements 3. I can't rescue any of the details in this photo but if you can post a link to the crop of the original maybe we can work from there.

Thanks for the comments. I need some help with this one. I like the photo because of the pose (here kitty kitty) but it was really hot and mid day when I shot it and I don't feel it has the colors that I wanted. I do not know photo shop yet (although I own adobe 7.0) If anyone is willing, could you play with this image to show me what you mean? I thought it would be a good shot to practice post processing on. but I am in the shadows so to speak. Yvonne

What an interesting pose. It's like (s)he is ready from some belly scratching :)
(*) At first look I thought, me thinking outloud ;) Composition wise, how would it look if that little opening in the top right corner would be cloned out so the tiger is surrounded be all rock. Then to me it might would've looked a little claustrophobic. So I like this crop more :) The shadows are a tad too black. Anyway the original is a little better? then you can try using the shadows/highlights dialog to rescue some of the detail and then apply the contrast or levels and sharpening.

I like this one, i can sense the languid summers day.
