When I'm all out of photographic ideas then PS can help Abs:-) I'm more of a BS artiiiiist.

red filter in the PS? Rod, are you becoming a graphic artist now? ;) -Abstract

Rod this is the closest of the three to the topic, not to mention the best. nice composition, nicely detailed (bridge and leaves) and choice of the color screams of heat. the most impressive thing for me in the shot is the way you manage to expose it correctly, inspite of shooting directly at the sun. -Abstract

Thanks all for commenting, even Paul.

I wish i didn't know that it's not hot because the colour of this reminds me so much of the end of a long stinking january or february day. Very good shot.

Great! must agree..the best of the three....

Also my fave of the three. The heat is more evident in this one.
Great job Rod!

Now this one is cool!

This is my favorite of your three, Rod. It's beautifully composed with the lacey leaves balancing the more solid structure of the bridge and both parts framing the white-hot sun. The red filter, of course, adds more impact. Good job.

Well Jano I did a lot of experimenting with different exposures, F-Stops, white balance, colour curves, under exposing, over exposing etc. But wot really did the trick was when I got home & put the shot in PS, I just used the red filter.
..........................Clever a:-)

Really beautiful color to the sky and then the highlight of the hot spot at the top of the bridge. Were these clouds casting off that beautiful color? Very nice. Jano

Trust you Yvonne to ask difficult questions. We've only been in Brisbane for 23 years, so how would I know why it was named that:-)

Rod, Nice point of view and nice warm coloring. So whats the story behind storey bridge? Yvonne
