Cat, I believe you are the first one who has convinced me that lugging around this heavy weight can be an advantage in some situation ;-)

Gerald, Didn't you notice that 100-400 L can also be used as a weapon or a sledge hammer in emergencies...LOL. So it does qualify as a lifesaver... -Cat

Thanks for your comments. A cheetah can reach speeds of 70 mph, my personal record for 100 metres sprint is 20 seconds (would be an excellent time for 200 m...), so I would better not rely on my 100-400 as a life saver in wildlife. That is why I preferred to take this picture at the zoo.

Very nicely captured Gerald. That 365mm is a life saver! -Cat

Your blurred grass and branch above give your image a 2D appearance. I really like this, Gerald. Now, just curious (sorry couldn't help the punn) where DID you photograph this? Markjay

I can see that cat's thought bubble and the title is exactly what he's thinking. Well done.

Gerald, I hope this was taken somewhere safe, like a zoo.... Either way, it's a great catch, with just the head popping out of the grass and that quizzical look on his face.

I´ll second Lonnit´s comment Gerald. Where was the photo taken? - andrew
