Great job Lonnit. Also would like to mention, the catchlight in the eye looks really good and exactly in the right spot.

Thanks Aam. It was just a no-biggie, quickie shot. I had him stand near the living room window and I stood over him. This one was after I'd taken a couple shots and I was trying to get another but he kept trying to get closer and closer to look into the lens, instead of letting me get back to position. I saw the moment and clicked. ~ Lonnit

This is an excellent phot Lonnit. Very charming, inquisitive and adorable. Very nice work with the eye. BTW the 1/3rd, 2/3rd rule is meant to be broken, sometimes!!! -Cat

Abs, I barely cropped this at all, only taking a tad off the left and bottom to make a slight correction in the compostion. The shot was at ISO400, which, in the 10D, starts really bringing in the grain already. :( That's why I'd really like to upgrade to the 20D which handles higer ISOs so much more masterfully. Lonnit, yes...you have masterfully captured the essence of the pretty eye but the grains (which bothers me) on the dark-left cheek/face makes me wonder whether you cropped the heck out of the original photo. excellent compo and dof btw. -Abstract

Oh my gosh! I'm rather shocked by all the great feedback already! I was iffy about this one. What I liked about it was the clarity of the eye. It was bugging me though that it fell upon the center line - I don't normally center my shots, so these responses really took me by surprise. RK, WOW! That's quite a compliment - thank you!
