The bold and beautiful *

Big Sur, California

As I said before, I like to paint feelings with my pictures.

To all those who dare to break out of the safety of the ordinary - maybe sometimes it feels lonely out there, but the view is breathtaking and the warm sun is your friend.

Ioana, You did try to paint feelings in this picture. And it looks good. The bright green plant in the foreground is just perfect. -Cat

i like the colors at sea bed, Ioana.
you are right...i havent hiked at this place but in general, all those breathtaking views at the top of the mountains make every hiking effort/pain worthy. you mentioned "lonely" feeling, almost in a negative way...but for me, that solitude is one of the reasons i love backpacking/hiking in mountains.

What a good angle I hope someone was hanging onto you when you took this shot. At first I was going to mention the glare of the sun on the water towards the top left sucking too much colour out of the shot. Then I wondered if your intention was to make the eye go along the bottom of the cliffs & not head out to sea, well my eye went the way of the cliffs & I loved me visit to Big Sur. Well done Ioana.
Notice I didn't mention your attempt at a silly frame:-)
