Gday Humberto, I do tend towards the darker look, I think it must hide a lot of faults:-)

Hi Rod,

After looking at your three entries, I feel that you're somewhat underexposing your shots. But as I've observed before regarding other shots, my office-studio at home, where I have my PC has a window to my right and it has harsh sunlight at this moment. So that may also be it.

I liked the grey skies and the bright green you could achieve on this one. -Cat

Thanks all:-) Blimey Ioana I know nothing about layers, I can only mess with shots on the desktop of PS.

Like the way the two tree lines box in the patterned field/meadow with the storm clouds above.

I'm envious of the green you've got from your rain and i like the way the trunks of the gums stand out in the gloom. Shame about the break in the trees and the bit of road in the foreground, it tends to distract.

I agree with Ioana, but not lowered too much. The clouds are great in this image! (Sort of like what hung over me when trying to put the new challenge together. LOL ) Shu

Very nice and soothing picture (I love rain). And you could lower the clouds, just put them on a new layer and bring it down, there's a patch of gray sky with no detail to be lost. I think it would look even better.

Now which one of you two is sober? Thanks both:-) If I don't win this challenge then frames will be me next move:-)

Nice composition Rod, the break in the trees adds interest. Rich

Great sky Rod. Nice shot. Needs a frame though. Day-glo orange i think.

I didn’t want to make it look like a sunny day when it was piddling down most of the day. I will wait for someone who's sober to comment before trying to lighten it. No aaammm I'm not jealous of Andy’s shot & me names not JK.

hmm, jelous of Andy's photo? j/k. Wish the clouds were a bit lower, but you can't control that I guess (or do you!). "*" it's a tiny bit dark.
