Thank you Alex. The color cast is from the watch itself I believe.

Nice crisp shot with great detail. I feel a tad of magenta cast though

Nice details. I had guessed it was yours Aam. It is truly you sig picture. Agree with Rod. Have to read on the Gestalt Theory. Can you post a link? -Cat
Rod 11-Jun-2005 03:37
Yes I think the "Gestalt Theory" works with photographs, but not product shots:-)

I read that Gestalt link, quite interesting. Doesn't work for me with this image though.

Thanks Paul.

Maybe I should post the "Gestalt Theory" link here too.

This could have been so good with the deatil you've captured but for me it needs to be centred so we can see all the face and the surrounds. Nice watch.

Thanks Doc...I mean Ioana :)

Very nice, simple and crisp - and the blue/silver color combination works great.

Thought about that Rod but wanted a very close up to show the details of the watch (which I find amazing). But I'll try your idea nonetheless. Thanks for the comment.
Rod 10-Jun-2005 09:44
Nice one aamammm, I agree with the others. Why not try a shot of the watch as though it's just been taken off. Maybe in the wash room or bed side table. Just to add a little interest mate.

Thanks Shu. I really wanted to show (what do you call them) the chronograph buttons (?) but it was tough. I'll look at the other pics, if not, I'll re-take the photo.
ctfchallenge10-Jun-2005 03:26
I agree that you should get the full blue circle in the frame. The color and clarity is perfect. Shu

Thank you very much for the comments. This photo is not cropped, it's as taken. As for the or orientation, I took about 15 pics and all were in the normal position, except this one, which was better than the rest (IMO). I'll look at them again.

Aam, like the picture, its sharp and contrasty. Would like to see the complete circle of the dial.

I like it too but I think it needs to be rotated 90' to the right. (imho) Rich

Aam, I love watches too! This picture is sharp. I love the detail on the face of the watch but I'm puzzled by the orientation and the cropping.

Hmm, guessed wrong, guessed Techo. I guess the last watch image entered my subconscious as taken by Techo...
