That certainly the case with our current car, a 20 yr old citroen bx. Im used to a trusty old bj42. Ill be looking for something equally robust when i return next yr. As for these cars, they were for sale at the market! The dealer had them all parked there. Could have cleaned them though. Had to clean them myself in PS. Not being anything of an expert i cannot dispute your assertion that french cars are crap. But i guarantee you that the xtype jag was pure class.

I like all 3 of your car shots (a keen interest or just coincidence?) but lean towards this as my favourite with the different reflections in either side with the emblem being shaped as it is. Nice and French too with the street signs to the left and the blue sky on the right. Shame about the bit of hairy leg though but i suppose someones got to hold the camera.
In the 1/80th of a second it took to take this shot i'd be interested to know what fell off the Peugeot as that's a long time for a french car to be standing in one spot and not have something break or fall off...or get pinched..or vandalised.
The car wasn't pink, but the reflection is true. Theres a direction sign centre and the edge of a building.

Andy, you should look for a job in car advertising - I'm sure they would be happy to have you, and you obviously love those things. Now, about this particular shot: how did you get the two sidesof the lion to reflect what looks like two very different landscapes? It might be just my illusion but it looks like the lion is split in two, and one side is an urban street with street signs, and the other one is some kind of sunny beach with a strange stop sign on it. Also, if that's the real color of the car, I want it! All in all, a great shot!
