Shu, I like the composition very much, and I think the "swirl" makes it more interesting. However, at least on my monitor, it looks realy harsh, like it's been oversharpened - I didn't see that at all in your other shot though, so I was wondering if it was intentional to make it look more like an abstract drawing?

The circle (base of the table) breaks the rhythm, thus plays an important role and adds value. I think it should stay. But that's just me. -Cat

Yes, the original for sure...................I think:-)

After much comparison, I have decided to use the original version of this image. The swirl, indicating the base of the table, adds movement to the shot and, IMO, makes it more artistic.
There's a slight breeze blowing through these lights.....................LOL! Shu

That's very strange, I didn't notice the circle until Lee mentioned it but now it's gone the shot has lost something for me. It looks flat now.

Lee--The base of the table is gone. Thanks for the important critique.I actually like it better because now there is no distraction when viewing the "String."

Rod-No raw for me as yet. I have too many other concerns regarding photography and find that it now takes me longer to comprehend instructions. I do know immediately what composition I like in an image, however. Shu

I will settle down soon (I hope) Each new picy I take becomes me best one for an hour or so. I will pick what I think is me best 3 on Sunday...........or Monday:-)
Somehow I quite like the hint of the base circle in this shot.
Do you take picys in the raw Shu?
I mean raw files, naughty girl:-)

Kewl. Like your idea and your title. Love the bright red color too. Where did you get all those nifty glasses? Ann C

I was going to say "I knew it was yours from the thumbnail" but the frame fooled me:-)
