In a Drop of Water *

Atlanta, Georgia USA

The image in the drop of water is a window to the left of the flower. The flower, by the way, is a passion flower, something I have never seen before.

Mary Anne, I've seen some beautiful work from you, but this one sets a new standard, it's simply breathtaking.

Thank you all. I also appreciate the background info on the plant. Unfortunately, I would not be able to grow a passion flower vine where I live, which has cold winters that are much too severe for it. I was in Atlanta just for the weekend and tried to make the best of the inclement weather.

Beautiful shot, vibrant colors, perfect use of the raindrops which give the "extra" to the picture.
Only imperfection (in my view) is the background: it should have been more in harmony with the flower.
By the way : they can be easily grown in your backyard...

Yeah, it's the national flower for Paraguay, I think... lot's of them over there... the name comes from the number of flower organs which recalls to Jesus: the three nails on the top, the twelve apostols somewhere below, etc.... don't remembe everything now, I learned it as I was a kid... nice shot by the way.
