wow! it sounds intriguing. i am not sure whether i will be able to read in near future (too much going on at work and outdoor-trips fronts) but if i get the audio cd, i will try to listen to it this weekend during my drive to Colorado (climbing at flat irons-boulder and then hiking in roky mountain national park...cant wait!). i am glad i was able to bring back some good memories. its one of the best compliments i have ever received for my photos :) thanks. -Abstract

I think it was the third book, it's called "Mary Poppins opens the door". When she comes back to the Banks family, she agrees to stay only "till the door opens". At first the kids are naturally worried, because the door opens about 100 times a day, but they forget about it as times goes by. In the last chapter, called "the other door", as we get a sense she's about to leave a bunch of those fantasy characters she always hangs out with show up to say goodbye. As they realize what's about to happen, the kids rush to the nursery window and see a reflection of their house - Mary opens the the door of that reflected house, walks in, and disappears.
At least that's how I remember it - keep in mind I've read it about 20 years ago, in Romanian translation, but I always imagined that other door to a different world looking kind of like your picture. Thanks for reminding me of one of my favorite childhood books!

Man, you've got yourself a nice hut there! I also like the photo, it's very creative, makes me think of that "other door" in the Mary Poppins books....

Thank you Mary Anne, Rod.
Rod, i know why do you want to get rid of moon...but i have quality limitations with my S1 and night long-exposure shots. conceptually moon is a very important part of the image, (so its there) but unfortunately i couldnt get it sharp. believe me i tried everything. -Abstract

It gives a futuristic feel of someone floating through time and space. Good eye.
