Simply beautiful!

Shu, congrats! It is a winner! A shot that asks for a longer observation and the red contrasts wonderful on the glass plate!

What more can be said? Your eye for composition and form really shows in this one. A real winner!

It's a breathtaking image, Shu! The colours pop the curves add graphically... PERFECT!!!

Shu,
Congrats on a most excellent image. It really draws me in as my eye moves around the composition to discover which glasses are real and which glasses are reflected. Great work!

Shu: WOW! Just terrific!

Shu, this is just perfect. The kind of simple and serene beauty I had hoped for when I chose the theme. I'd put it on my wall and look at it over and over again. Thanks for shooting this,
Ioana

Another classical Shu composition. The curved line adds interest.

Very much in your style. Beautiful, the glasses seem flying

Awesome shot! Only thing that bothers me (a very little) is the flat at the top of the table, just looks like the curve should sweep around.

I have only three rooms so I have to look closely at what I can photograph. This table and my dining table have very nice surfaces, but I may soon wear out my welcome unless I can figure new ways to use them. I love glass and the interesting photographic possibilities it offers so, naturally, I was elated when I could use glass as a subject for this challenge. BTW, thanks for all your nice comments! Shu

This composition is very well thought out and delivers! The mixing of the glassware is what is so intriging in this photo, yet it is not evident, to me anyway, when I first viewed it. The swirling of the reflective glass adds to the the circle of the wine glasses. I think I may try this at home..... :) Bravo! jano

Great composition, I also guessed it was you before I opened it. Its not that you are predictable, its that you are so good with colored glass.
Guest 02-Jun-2005 16:34
Shu, that table really serves you well. 8-)

You're all class with glass Shu, great work on this one. The border even looks good:-)

Striking image, really makes you want to open the thumbnail
Shu01-Jun-2005 22:25
Ha-Ha! How'd you know? I hope I'm not sooo predictable as to be boring....!!!!!! (Go ahead, tell me....I can handle it.) LOL Shu
Nugar01-Jun-2005 21:41
I knew it was a Shu! (Does that rhyme?)
ctfchallenge01-Jun-2005 20:03
Wonderful composition, Shu. In addition to the striking color, the positioning of the glasses and the circles and swirls of the table glass add to the sophisticated optical illusion you've created. Well done.

Shu...i like those two upside down glasses too. shot has very nice feel to it.
btw when i look at the right most glass, the image looks a little tilted cloclwise. -Abstract

I really like how you've got a few of the glasses upside down. That little twist adds a lot of character to this photo.
