I keep coming back to this one, but I can't quite figure out exactly what makes it so compelling. Maybe it's the very clear water, looks very real, like I would like to run my hand through it. Also, the bottom is clearly muddy, but water above looks very clean, gives the impression nothing has disturbed this thing for a very, very long time.

Great looking shot Rich, I cropped the shot down to the top of the wooden dock. This got rid of the sky & for me gave a better look.........just IMHO..........of course.
Mmmm, just cropped it again with a bit of paper & now I'm not so sure:-) Nice shot anyhow.

I like the dock's alignment with the horizon, as if the wheels are desigend to move the horizon :-) -Cat
