Paul,
This great work! After I saw the car with Mutley, I can appreciate the efforts you had to put to get this on topic AND look very normal. -Cat

Thanks for the comments all. Regarding the focus, this was one of the few shots i tried during the challenge where i could actually get both objects in focus but when the Porsche in front is in focus it looks just like the toy it is and out of all the shots this gave the best sense of disproportion.

Ioana, regarding the house, it wasn't until you said that i'd noticed it,-which is often the way when you add another pair of eyes- i wish now that i'd have moved the Saab forward towards the conifer which would have hidden the house but unfortunately i don't have time for a reshoot.
Regards

Very good interpretation of the theme - when I first looked at the picture I thought "hmm, this are just two normal cars" - but then I noticed the unnaturally high grass around the red car and got it (a little slow today). As for the focus, you could try focusing somewhere closer, there's no need for the house all the way in the back to be so crisp. Just a thought.

now that is disproportion. thanks for posting the visual interpretation of the example i gave in the topic description. i am impressed that you get this idea to work. -Abstract
for the *...too much oof foreground (half of the frame) is a bit uncomfortable to look at though...but that just might be me.

Very well done Paul. I thought of trying something like this but I didn't have the props. It looks like youve even sprinkled some dew on the Porsche. If only you could get both cars in focus or maybe out of focus. Good shot anyway.

Oh my gawd Herg the toy car is the same size as that ladies car. What would have been & is a good disproportion are the blades of grass around your Porsche. .......or is it Emma's Porsche?
