now the perspective works for me.
on the other note, the two pillars have humans at the top as a focal point but now wood-column has lost its focal point (numbers)...i think, i will try to get best of both worlds and reshoot, if its close-by. i apologize for going back and forth but am just trying to give you my honest opinion. -Abstract

I really like the original better!! I think it gives a better perspective on the disproportion, not to mention the history behind the photo. jano

Excellent. If you crop the bottom out, in my opinion it would look better, since one wouldn't distinguish the wood in the middle as a pole. Well done, Max.

this is almost an optical illusion. if a part of the bottom right "general-pole" was not behind the wooden-pole it would have been perfect. nice take on the topic. -Abstract
