I very much like the composition. Just how the cup and spoon are placed and the texture of the mat.

Very nice blues and yellows. almost complementary. I like the texture on bamboo too.

I like your version of this cup and saucer, done in "Nugar Style" bright colors! Shu

Excellent photo Nugar, love the composition.

Hi Abs and Dorys, thanks both for your comment. The fuzziness on the rim, may be due to the highlight. Although technically it is not blown, it is very nearly so. Also, I did manual focusing, and I think that it is affecting me, since I'm an eyeglass wearer. So yes, I agree that the mat and even the plate is better focused than the rim. I'll pay more attention next time!

i like composition a lot with the placement of the shadow and the verticle bamboo. nice combination of geometric shapes without being distracting. however, the ridge of the coffee cups seems a bit soft on my monitor. was that your intention ?

Nugar, i love simplicity of this image, you still managed to add nugar-colors to it though :). really awesome composition. i am glad you did not partially crop the cup. for the *, matt is in focus but the cup edge looks soft. may be a bit more dof. just my 2 cents. -Abstract
