Paul and Rod, thanks for comments. I am unsure whether to follow your suggestions for two reasons
- cloning out the flags goes beyond what I see as admissible alteration of image in PS
- I feel that clouds with the bird represent a bit too predictable image

After some thought I decided to try your suggestion and submit the result as the third exhibition entry

I'd love to see this without the flags. The clouds are very dramatic and the soaring bird fits in with the soaring vocal refrain on the song you use as your topic.

I think the flags may be a distraction on this shot Alexei. Maybe if they're burnt in making them almost silhouettes they may compliment the sky & bird.
