Thanks Richard. Looks like you have invested in full setup with your new Pentax. And from the results you have shown here, looks like you have it under control too. Good luck on your 'second mortgage' :-) -Cat
Photocat... Comments on my new camera, or should I say "second mortgage" :-)
I'm extremely happy with the Pentax D, and the low price I've paid. Since getting it, I've added the vertical battery grip which makes it feel like a 20D to hold and gives me a 1000 shot capacity running 8 X 2500Mah AA's. Also got a sigma TTL flash, 16mm fish-eye lens, Super Takumar 50mm F1.4 (best ever 50mm made according to Luminious Landscape), a Sigma 100 -300mm zoom, Sigma 18 - 125mm, 2X extender, new Lowepro Nova 3AW bag, (The Nova 2AW got too small:-)).... Not to mention all the ancillary accessories you need with a dSLR, such as a chamber portable vacuum cleaner, sensor brush, large blower bulb, and larger 62mm polarisers and UV's.... Man is dust a problem on the CCD with a dSLR!
The only thing I need now is the name of the insurance company, Gayle uses, as the replacement cost... Well, I don't want to think about it... Should it get stolen or damaged :-)
Photocat... Re: borders... Rod has made me tone down me borders. So now I go for the more plain matted white frames. Easy to make, in PhotoImpact 10 software.
Rod..LOL... Good Point!... I've renamed it to "Jill in the box" :-)

Very pretty colors and light effect Richard. These are the results of your new camera! Looks very nice. If it were Canon, it could have been in the other gallery :-) Give us some feedback of your new camera -Cat
