Thanks for a good suggestion Mary Anne. I do like it more now, that oil slick on the pavement was a distraction. :-) Rich

Rich, I know that you're trying to get a few strong diagonal lines in here, but I think the bare pavement in the foreground detracts from the photo, which otherwise is a beautiful, subtly colored late winter landscape. I'd crop out all or most of the road and let the angle of the hill and the trees on it be your diagonals. Just my opinion.
