I like your attempt at composing and capturing an action in Macro. Very few pictures which I have seen has any kind of 'live action' captured up close. Everyone insists on perfect focus, but bending the rules is a essential element of creativity. Only the best can get away with it though. I agree with Gayle's insight so no point in repeating it. The only thing I would mention is cropping off the extra green area, as it does not have a clean bokeh. Ask: what is the subject? and crop everything else which does not add to or enhance it. My 2 cents -Cat

Aam, I think this image would have been better if part of the butterfly was in focus. This might have been achieved if you'd used "drive mode" on your camera and shot a series of rapid-fire photos. You would probably have got one or two with the body in focus. Overall though, it's a very good attempt at this difficult type of photo.
Needs some post-processing too, but I think that's mainly been covered in the challenge thread.
