Gran Jaguar *

Tikal, Guatemala

This is Temple I (aka Great Jaguar Temple) in Tikal. It is 47 mts. tall and was built around year 700 A.D. Archaeologists found inside a tomb with the remains of Ha Cacao (Lord Chocolate). Also they found two lintels of Ha Cacao sitting on his throne with a figure of a jaguar.

Hi Jose Pablo, I like the compo, although the image itself loks a bit overexposed. Terrible name for Lord Chocolate on his native language, it's a good thing he died already and didn't live in Panama, we would have given him hell: "Hola, Ha Cagao!?"
