I think that is PS CS only, Mary Anne. I don't really like that option, since the defaults leave yor image looking a bit... ugly. I prefer to use the "Add Dynamic Range" option in Velvia Vision (highly recommended).
Thanks, alexeig, but I have only PSE, and I've never seen anything with shadows/highlight, which doesn't mean it's not there...only that I've never seen it. Maybe levels would do the same thing?
