Thanks for your comments, Mary Ann. This is a scanned Kodachrome transparency. The lighting on the original is extremely contrasty and I was trying to get some detail in the shadows. But in doing so I desaturated the vegetables on the table. I have now selectively increased contrast and saturation in the image and then re-uploaded it. Is this any better? -- Kenneth
Nice candid with a wonderful array of colors. However, the colors themselves seem a little overexposed to me. Have you tried increasing the saturation or contrast? I really like the shot except that it lacks a certain "punch."
