I keep coming back to this one b/c I love the drummer - just wish there were dancers in the background instead of a bland crowd. Maybe that would have meant shooting from his other side? Well, there's always photoshop to drop in a different background! LOL! ~ Lonnit
Very nice, Gayle. Trust you to get such a different point of view. I suspect this may inspire many of us to look for unique ways of composing candid street shots.
Ahhhh yes, I was a bit hard of hearing for a while. I had my 19yo son with me, he was on his way back to Puckapunyal, and was seriously hung over from a party the night before. He didn't stick around long at all! Wonder why???
I was shooting that day just with a 50mm lens (I was experimenting) so didn't get many pics at this location but got some good ones elsewhere in the city.
We seem to be in the same place at the same time quite a bit! You will have to look out for me and come introduce yourself.

interesting pov and composition. hope your hearing is alright after that day.
did you enjoy that day...i was there for 30-40mins and managed to get a gallery of images. :)
