Austin Life *

Austin, Texas

I am standing on grassy hill looking down on a busy public boat ramp below one of the many landmarks in Austin, the "Pennybacker Bridge". Austin is a layed-back town (just look at the President), where hiking, biking, boating, and eating barbeque is the way of life. I waited (about 2 minutes) until a cycler road by, signifying the Home of Lance Armstrong. Take a boat down the river about 1/2 mile to the left and you can get off at my boat dock (BYOB).

this is one of my favourite places in the world. i used to go (with/without company) to this public boat ramp(wooden bridge where you launch the boat) on non-busy evening, with a folding chair and laptop; and watch movies.
i have so many Austin photos (i was there for almost 5 yrs) but i dont think Rod will allow me to enter them :)
what a town and you have captured perfect things to show...sunny-day, hills, bicycles, boats and bridge on 360. Tom, thanks for bringing back memories. -Abstract
