The Gene Leahy mall in downtown Omaha is a gathering place for the homeless of our city. Noon meals are served on the sidewalk from which this picture was taken, and there are often 50 or more folks standing and sitting about. The bag lunch in the foreground is a bit ironic, don't you think? And so. maybe, is the construction. In order to honor their privacy, I took this shot with no homeless folks in it. Too bad I had to work to find such an angle.
