St. Helens old and new:
A couple of local lumber mills still receive logs by rail. The KFC in the background did not open until about 5 years ago; for the first 2 months cars were lined up around the block for the drive through – it was the biggest thing that had happened in town for years.
It was 36 degrees Fahrenheit, so a rather chilly morning.

Well done Phil:-) I can from this shot get a slight sense of St Helens. The lumber industry the eagerness to try the KFC & I even know the temperature., or do I? Is that 36deg F freezing or 36deg C Hot:-) Nice shot & entry Phil
