Slippery when wet *

This image is mersilessly hit by severe overcompression (PS level 1 !!!). For example, umbrella should be uniformely red. Have a look at less compressed version:

This is shot in historic center of Trondheim, Norway, where I live. Quite a few buildings like this can be found around the town, although this one is particularly large. It is painted in a typical local hue of red which is even called locally Trondsersk rød. Once it was the cheapest paint available which explains its diffusion. It is not the cheapest paint anymore but many houses are still being painted in this color. We have lots of rain here. This shot is made in February, but it could have been done in June, if not for the small remaining patches of snow. What else is characteristic here? Hmmm ... Oh yes, the ladies use umbrellas when it rains.

Alexeig what does this shot represent do you live here, work here, slip over here? We need some commentary to make this a photojournalists shot on the essence of where you live. Maybe you thought you were in a photo contest or something:-)

As usual, you've entered three very impressive shots, Alexeig. Could you give a little info about the places?
